Dr. Shyamal K. Jash: Dr. Shyamal K. Jash was born at Bolpur in the district of Birbhum, West Bengal, India in 1982. He received his high school degree in science stream in 1999. Then he moved to Visva-Bharati (a central University founded by Rabindranath Tagore) to study chemistry at the undergraduate level. After graduating from this University in 2003, Dr. Jash completed his masters in 2005 with specialization in organic chemistry and thereafter received Ph.D. degree in February 2011 in chemistry from the same university. He was appointed as assistant teacher in chemistry in 2005. Again he was also appointed as assistant professor in chemistry at Saldiha College in 2008 and then at K C College in 2017. At present, he is responsible for teaching courses in organic and natural products chemistry. Dr. Jash has published so far nearly 50 publications from different national and international journal of repute and also attended/presented papers in 48 International and National conferences. He achieved best award in international conference in 2014. He was listed in various book of biography of personalities such as Asia/Pacific Who's Who in 2016 and others.
